Offshore Credit and Debit Cards
For clients with official residence in the
Dominican Republic we can arrange credit cards through local banks. These
typically have dual limits, that is one limit in Dominican Pesos and a
separate limit in US dollars for international spending. This avoids the
need to exchange money into Dominican pesos for expenses while you are
travelling.
If you don't have residence yet (or even if you do) you might be interested
in other offshore credit and debit cards we can provide through our Panama
office in association with several different banks we work with. These cards
may be billed in US dollars, Euros, or British Pounds.
We also offer completely anonymous pre-paid travel and remittance cards.
These can be used to withdraw local currency at ATM cash machines worldwide.
There is no name embossed on the cards, so anyone who has possession of the
card and PIN number has round-the-clock access to cash. This is an ideal
solution for when you are travelling or for transferring money to other
family members. You can also access transaction histories and make transfers
online.
